The EU Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD) demands that all buildings achieve a Nearly Zero-Energy Building (NZEB) rating by 31st December 2020. Our current designs use the NZEB rating criteria as a sustainability goal.
Our innovative designs are developed using building simulation and dynamic modelling to simulate the thermal performance of various design options. We then review, analyse, compare and develop the optimum energy efficient design solutions for each individual project.
Simulation modelling also supports accurate Cost-in-Use
studies and Life Cycle Analysis.
We have a proven track record in the field of sustainable energy efficient design having secured numerous grants and awards on behalf of our clients and most of our recent commercial projects have been formally certified to LEED Gold and BREEAM Excellent levels.
