MasterCard Technologies is an innovative multinational tech company in the payment processing industry, with offices worldwide. Their office in One South County is their European Technology Hub.

South County Campus in Leopardstown, Dublin 16 will, when completed, comprise three state-of-the-art prestigious HQ office buildings designed by TOT Architects. One South County is a 5-storey building with two 18m wide wings per floor separated by a 11m atrium and gross floor area of 13,875 sqm. MasterCard occupy all 5 floors of the building.

Axiseng were commissioned by the client to complete the TDD and then lead the mechanical and electrical services design of the fit-out, which consisted of 12,840m².

Axiseng were initially responsible for the mechanical and electrical elements of the detailed Technical Due Diligence (TDD), which included a site and desktop survey and detailed report.

The fit-out of the building consisted of the following spaces within the building: kitchen, canteen, tea station/refuel stations, comms rooms, boardroom, reception, open plan office space, experience centre, client meeting rooms, printer rooms, private offices, and staff meeting offices.

The highly sustainable design of the building targets the LEED Gold accreditation.

Mechanical services included provision of mechanical ventilation with central air-handling units complete with heat recovery located at roof level for office floors and ground level for large assemblies in the atrium, kitchen extract with odour control, water services, LPHW & CHW to fan coil units providing heating and cooling.

Electrical services included power distribution systems, new backup generator, central UPS system, bespoke lighting according to Client’s specifications, emergency lighting in accordance with IS 3217 regulations, fire alarm system, voice and data cabling and security systems.
