Hostelworld

Located in Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Hostelworld is the global leading provider of online reservations to hostels and budget accommodation. The project consisted of the fit-out of the second floor of the Block G building in Central Park on the south side of Dublin.

The existing space was grey box with floor to ceiling curtain walling, fitted with raised access floors throughout, dry lined walls, cores and masonry walls.  Structured cabling solutions were provided within the raised access floor along with underfloor distributed power tracks.

Air conditioning and 4 pipe fan coil units with Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICV) were installed for optimum efficiency.  General and feature lighting utilised LED fittings where practical to maximise operational cost savings.

Axiseng were responsible for all aspect of the mechanical and electrical systems as part of the design team for this fit-out project.

A mix of exposed services and bespoke ceiling solutions involving the careful coordination of mechanical and electrical installations create a trendy and modern interior to suit the style and image of the popular online company.
