Aircastle

The Dublin office of Aircastle, one of the world’s leading providers of aircraft leasing, was relocating from Dawson Street to the newly complete 20 Kildare Street and the fit-out, led by CRM Fit-Outs, consisted of the CAT B design of the third and fourth floor of the new build.

The fit-out of the building consisted of the following spaces within the building: open plan office space, receptions, collaborative areas, boardroom, meeting rooms, private cellurised offices, printer areas, kitchen, tea stations and comms rooms.

The overall project complimented the existing LEED Gold Standard of the base build.

A significant challenge of the project was reconfiguring the existing CAT A design, particularly the four-pipe fan coil units, to suit the new office layouts.

Considerable design team workshops were held to create the lighting design throughout the floorplate. Each space uses different types of light fittings which reflect the model design of the space. Similar exercises were carried out to coordinate the ventilation design into the seamless plasterboard finish in the boardrooms, collaborative spaces and kitchen.

All services had to be worked around the existing sprinkler system, which was modified to suit the new layout.
